It seems to be related to Firefox. XPCOM is a message handler for different processes. Apparently, Firefox does not handle its extensions exactly 100% perfectly, resulting in this error message. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.3 and I get this error. I also have several extensions, specifically FlashGot, Google Browser Sync, and Firefox's own Talkback, which sends crash reports back to the development team. At this time (April 2007), there is no fix for this, other than removing Firefox extensions completely, or uninstalling Firefox and using another browser. 30 April 2007
